Hi, Young Historians,

We get a lot of mail from our readers, and without a doubt, ancient Egypt is one of the most requested topics! We are beyond thrilled to present this issue to you and grateful for the amazing advisors and collaborators who helped bring this issue to life.

Many of the adults who work for Honest History went through what we like to call “an ancient Egypt phase” in their childhood. And there is a great reason why! Ancient Egypt played a vital role in medicine, architecture, science, religion, and technology. Egypt was a leader in many of these fields and influenced much of the ancient world. So it's no wonder we went through a stage when Egypt was our favorite subject in history!

As always, we can only cover some things about ancient Egypt. Honest History is a short magazine, but we want to make sure you get a little taste of this topic to inspire you to learn more! We encourage you to go with your adult to the local library and ask your librarian to help you explore more topics on ancient Egypt. When you find something interesting, send us a postcard or email! We always love hearing from our readers, especially about your exciting discoveries!
