NAME: Mia Uliana
AGE: 10
I'M FROM: Nazareth, PA

Do you have any siblings?
How many? Are you the oldest, middle, or youngest?
I have two sisters. I’m the middle.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I either want to be a marine biologist, a singer, or an interior home designer.

What do you like to do for fun?
I like to sing, draw, bike, run, ski, and swim.

You’ve written to us in the past and mentioned you admire Marie Curie. Why is she someone you look up to?
I just think it’s amazing that she was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the first person and only person to win the Nobel Prize in two scientific fields.

Are there any other women (or men) in history that you admire? If so, who?
I admire Frida Kahlo, Susan B. Anthony, Albert Einstein, and Greta Thunberg.

Why do you think it’s important to study history?
So that you can learn about people from the past and how our world has changed since then.

Is there a topic or subject you think Honest History should cover? If so, what?
Climate change definitely. It is probably the most important thing that we have to fix right now. If nobody does anything about it, then the world could explode, and Antarctica could melt completely.

What is one fun thing you’ve learned from reading Honest History?
I’ve learned about the amount of trash in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, which is twice the size of Texas. But that’s not really fun.
