A LETTER FOR YOUNG HISTORIANS

Greetings, Young Historians,

Over the years, many of you have asked when we planned to cover the American Revolution. With America’s 250th birthday fast approaching, we knew now was the perfect time.

You’ve likely heard of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and countless other important figures in America’s fight for freedom. Events like the Boston Tea Party and Paul Revere's epic ride are deeply ingrained in our nation’s history. But there are other stories of great Americans that are worth remembering too.

Everyday men and women—people like you and me—are the true backbone of America. We hope that reading this issue of Honest History helps you learn about the ordinary people who contributed to the history of the United States.

Happy reading,
