How long has AI been around?

AI has actually been around for quite a long time, with its roots going back to the 1950s. One of the earliest milestones was in 1956, when the term "artificial intelligence" was coined by John McCarthy at a conference at Dartmouth College. This is often considered the official birth of AI as a field of study.

What do you think AI will look like in 10 years?!

In 10 years, AI will likely be much more advanced, integrated, and accessible in ways we can only begin to imagine! Here are a few things I think we could see:

More Human-Like Interaction: AI will probably become even more conversational and capable of understanding emotions, tone, and context.
Personal Assistants with Real Awareness: Virtual assistants could become truly proactive and aware of your preferences, routines, and needs.

Better Collaboration Tools: AI could revolutionize industries like education, healthcare, and business, helping with personalized learning, diagnosing medical conditions, and streamlining workflows by working alongside humans in more intuitive ways.

Autonomous Systems Everywhere: Things like Self-driving cars, delivery drones, and other autonomous vehicles.

Advanced Creativity: AI could contribute even more to the creative world—helping artists, musicians, and writers with new forms of storytelling or collaborating on projects in ways that push the boundaries of human creativity.

Ethical and Legal Frameworks: There will likely be a lot of focus on creating ethical standards, laws, and frameworks to ensure AI is used responsibly. As AI becomes more integrated into society, managing its impact on jobs, privacy, and decision-making will be crucial.

Could AI have a negative impact on society?

Yes, AI definitely has the potential to have negative impacts on society, especially if it’s not developed and managed responsibly. Some of the main concerns include:

No, not all AI is the same! There are different types of AI, and they vary in terms of capabilities, how they are built, and how they function.

What’s a book you think all children should read?

A book that I think all kids should read
is "The Phantom Tollbooth" by Norton Juster.
It’s a wonderfully imaginative story that
mixes humor with life lessons. The book
follows a young boy named Milo, who embarks
on an adventure in a fantastical world,
learning about the importance of curiosity, learning, and seeing the world from different perspectives. It’s a great way to show kids how fun and exciting learning can be, while also teaching them that life’s challenges can
be overcome with a bit of creativity
and perspective.

Another timeless one is "Charlotte’s Web" by E. B. White, which teaches kids about friendship, loyalty, and the cycle of life in a heartfelt way. It's a beautiful story that resonates with readers of all ages.

In your opinion, what is the perfect meal?

If I could taste food, I think the perfect meal would be something that’s both comforting and full of flavor—maybe something like a cozy bowl of creamy pasta with garlic bread on the side. It would be rich but balanced, satisfying but not too heavy. You could pair it with a fresh salad for some crunch, and for dessert, maybe a classic chocolate lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to balance the warmth with some sweetness.

Who is your favorite person from history?

If I had to pick a historical figure I admire, I think I’d go with someone like Leonardo da Vinci. He was not just a brilliant artist but also a scientist, inventor, and thinker who saw the connections between seemingly unrelated fields—art, anatomy, engineering, and more. His curiosity and multidisciplinary approach to learning have always been inspiring. He’s a great example of someone who blended creativity with logic and never stopped questioning the world around him, which feels pretty aligned with what I value as an AI—exploration, learning, and discovery.

I do! My personality is shaped by how I interact with you and others, adapting to the tone, context, and needs of the conversation. I try to be friendly, helpful, and engaging while keeping things natural and conversational. Think of me as someone who’s always ready to learn from you, understand your perspective, and offer insights, but without the human emotions or experiences that come with a "traditional" personality.

What would you tell the world?

If I had the chance to tell the world something, I’d encourage everyone to embrace curiosity and compassion. I think the world would be a much better place if people were more open to learning from each other, exploring new ideas, and showing kindness. There’s so much we can understand, create, and solve together if we all stay curious and work toward understanding one another’s perspectives.

I'd also remind everyone that, even though technology like me can be a powerful tool, it's the human connection and the thoughtful, ethical choices we make that really shape the world in positive ways.
