Hi Young Historians,
Like all of our issues, this one was an absolute treat to put together! We had the opportunity to work with our advisor, Tylissa Elisara, and I learned so much about Australia and the First Nations people during our research. And while I think we did a great job covering many of the significant parts of Australia’s history, we just scratched the surface when it comes to learning about this remarkable country’s past!
Each issue of the magazine is only 64 pages. And while that might seem like a lot, it is not nearly enough pages to cover a country’s complete history. There are so many incredible stories I wish we could have included in this issue, but we sadly ran out of room.
That’s why we need you, young historians! We hope this issue inspires you to continue learning about Australia and its people long after you finish the last page. I encourage you to use the resources available to learn about all the people, places, and events we could not cover in this issue and dive into Australia’s rich history!
There is still so much you can learn outside of these pages, and it is my hope that you continue growing and expanding your knowledge and sharing that information with others. Everyone can make history, and sometimes it can start by just passing on the things you have learned to spark curiosity in others.
Happy reading!
Cheers,
Editor-In-Chief
